The Genshin Impact 5.6 update will release soon and will introduce new characters, enemies, and events. But before the new version goes live, there will be a short maintenance period during which the servers will be down and you won’t be able to log into the game.

Genshin Impact 5.6 maintenance and server downtime schedule

As per the usual update cycle, the Genshin Impact 5.6 update maintenance will begin on May 6 at 5pm CT. It’s expected to last five hours, so it should end at 10pm CT. As mentioned, you won’t be able to log into the game during the maintenance, so it is best if you complete any unfinished tasks or consume your Resin.

Once the maintenance ends, you can check your in-game mailbox to collect the compensation of 600 Primogems. Additionally, the first phase banners of Escoffier and Navia will be available.
