How does gifting work in Hello Kitty Island Adventure?
Before we delve into the specific gifts for each character, it’s important to understand how gifts work in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Gifts are categorized based on the amount of Friendship Level Up Experience (FLUX) they provide. There are three categories of gifts:
- Ultimate Gifts: These gifts provide 3 Hearts worth of FLUX and are generally harder to obtain, and each character only has one of these. They often require multiple ingredients or unique items.
- Best Gifts: These gifts provide 2 Hearts worth of FLUX and are relatively easier to obtain. They can be crafted using common ingredients or obtained through various in-game activities.
- Normal Gifts: These gifts provide 1 Heart worth of FLUX and are readily available from the early stages of the game. They include crafting materials, cooking ingredients, and forageable items.
How often can you give gifts in Hello Kitty Island Adventure?
Screenshot by DestructoidHello Kitty Island Adventures has a maximum limit of three gifts per day. However, you can go beyond this limit by giving the character one of two items:
- Friendship Blossom
- Resets the daily gift-giving limit for a single character, can be given in the usual way you give a gift
- Friendship Bouquet
- Resets the daily gift-giving limit for all characters, must be used from within your inventory
You can earn these Friendship flowers by completing Collections, including Clothing, Potions, and Food. It’s also possible to receive them as a reward, from daily quests to story missions. Unfortunately, the flowers don’t show up too often, as it will require a lot of playtime to unlock. Otherwise, you can check back daily and provide gifts to the characters bit by bit.
