Speaking in an interview with Japanese newspaper The Asashi Shimbun, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has said you can expect to hear a lot more of the Wii Vitality Sensor this summer.

He said a press conference will be held in July to talk about the finger-clip peripheral in more detail [For the record, E3's on June 15-17 this year - Ed].

Iwata revealed the WVS at E3 last June during the Nintendo press conference.

Not much has been heard of it since then, althoughhe did say in August the add-on will release "not too late" this year, with a "video game with a theme of relaxation" also in development at the company.

Thanks, Kotaku.
