Namco's posted a ¥2.8 billion loss for the quarter ending June 30, a swing from a ¥1.5 billion in the previous first quarter.

Sales were down to ¥75.7 billion, compared to ¥90 billion in the same period last year.

Afro Samurai was the firm's biggest seller for the quarter, moving 420,000 units in Europe and the US.
