New Gears of War won't come to Xbox 360

The next Gears of War game will be a new-gen-only product.

The new Gears of War, currently in development at Black Tusk Studios, is coming only to Xbox One.

Here's Jack Felling, one of the game's developers, answering a fan on Twitter.

@Clayton_117 No sorry, it won't be available on the 360 but it will be available for the Xbox One!

While the move was expected - considering it was announced as a next-gen project, you really never know. Forza Horizon 2 had an Xbox 360 port.

The last update we heard was back in December from Xbox boss Phil Spencer who said the team is making "massive progress." Expect to at least see a trailer for it at E3 this year.
