Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Horii seems to have let slip an early announcement.
Speaking at Japan Expo 2015 in Paris this weekend, Horii reportedly said both Dragon Quest 7 and Dragon Quest 8 will be released in French.
The comment was widely reported on Twitter by attendees; Gematsu gathered several examples.
We're working on the assumption that Horii's comment means that the 3DS remakes of the classic Square Enix RPGs will release in the west sometime soon-ish.
We've contacted Square Enix to see if the publisher has anything to share at this stage.
Update: Square Enix wrote back to say "no comment".
