As previously reported, voting for the awards opened in December and were announced live on Thursday, January 14. We're just now hearing about the results, thanks to a tweet from Bethesda.

We honestly forgot all about the awards, sorry about that.

River was nominated for Top Video Game Dog alongside D-Dog from Metal Gear Solid 5 and Chop from GTA 5.

We posted a video back in September 2015 featuring River in action. It's so cute we had to post it again below.
