Flappy Bird developer Dong Nguyen has confirmed that his polarising mobile title will return eventually, but stressed that it wouldn't be flying back to the coop any time soon.

Nguyen has been discussing the Flappy Bird return with fans on Twitter:

Nguyen then confirmed he is working on a new version of the title:

At its peak; Flappy Bird was raking in $50,000 a day before pulling the title from App Store, which then resulted in death threats and a wave of clones that is still ongoing.
