According the reveal event attended by IGN Russia, the game was designed to run well on lower-end PCs and runs on a modified Halo 3 engine.
The game is set on a secret UNSC space station called "Anvil" where Spartans train and test technology. There isn't a campaign mode, but it takes place after the events of Halo 3 and supports 4-16 players matches.
The game will be published and operated by Innova Systems.
There are no plans to bring Halo Online to the Xbox One. A closed beta for Halo Online is coming soon.
An FAQ on Halo Waypoint states that should the focus shift outside of Russia, it would "have to go through region-specific changes to address player expectations."
Still, there are no such plans to expand release regions at this time.
