Ongoing problems with Halo: The Master Chief Collection mean that the release of series spin-off Spartan Strike has been delayed.

The mobile and PC game was due for release on December 12, but according to a post on the Halo Waypoint blog it's being held back while all efforts are put into fixing the matchmaking in Halo: TMCC.

"While we’re excited about this all-new Halo experience, our commitment to resolving the current matchmaking issues in Halo: The Master Chief Collection remains the top priority.

"As a result, we have decided to move the release of Halo: Spartan Strike to early 2015."

Another patch for Halo: The Master Chief Collection was released over the weekend. Has it fixed it?
