Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition will be in your sticky little hands by the end of the month.
Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition's release date is October 30, apparently.
I say "apparently" because Beamdog hasn't announced the news in the usual way - sending a press release, or holding an event. Instead, Trent Oster casually mentioned the date on Twitter.
Oh we also announced a launch date for #IWDEE of Oct 30. That's right, just 10 more days to go. #10DaysofAlveus

Whatever; we'll take it. Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition is coming to Linux and PC through GoG, Steam or direct from Beamdog, with mobile versions to follow.
The enhanced port includes six expanded quests restoring cut content, new items and spells, cross-platform multiplayer, a casual difficulty mode and more. It follows similar, successful treatments of Baldur's Gate and its sequel.
Thanks, PC Gamer.
