Just Cause 3 has gone gold

Just Cause 3 is finished and on its way to manufacturers to be slapped on discs.

So: Just Cause 3 has gone gold, according to Avalanche Studios boss Christofer Sundberg.

This is quite the feat, as the open-world action game is pretty freaking enormous at 1,000 square kilometres.

Fans of the cult series have had a long wait; Just Cause 2 released in 2010, which feels like forever ago. We'll probably need another five years to see everything in this one, though - even by wingsuit.

Just Cause 3 arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on December 1.
