PrioVR, the gaming suit that failed to achieve its funding goal on Kickstarter, will make an appearance at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. Developers YEI Technoloy will pair with Rift-makers Oculus to show what a body-mounted control experience might look like.

If you missed the PrioVR Kickstarter, and claims that it was eight times faster than Kinect, you can play catch-up through the link.

CNET reports that the PrioVR device allows for 'half-body' control, tracking a person's head, elbows and wrists, along with gaming inputs in the player's hands. It can be extended to a full-body device however.

Speaking with the site, YEI Technology's chief of R&D Paul Yost said that the full-body suit, "allows you to drop on the ground, roll around, shoot under your leg, curl up into a fetal position. We have this collection of inertial sensors that combines with a software that ties all that together into this skeletal model. All that happens on the system itself, so there's no computational load on the PC other than the communication."

PrioVR is compatible with all major game engines and allows for API plug-ins, along with a pair of nunchuck controllers. It's coined as a PC device initially, but YEI is looking to bring it to consoles down the line. Yost revealed that the full-body edition will cost $400, and the half-body edition will sell for approximately $270.

YEI will launch a new Kickstarter campaign with more insight and a goal of less than $100,000 on February 14.
