PS4 game pre-loading to come in April, Sucker Punch suggests
PlayStation 4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son will be launched at midnight tonight on PSN, but the store doesn't currently allow pre-loading to give players a chance to install ahead of time. Developer Sucker Punch has suggested that's all about to change in April.
It follows confirmation of a new PS4 firmware update that will drop HDCP restrictions among other things. Could this update enable pre-loads as well?
Sucker Punch had this to say on Twitter:
@EricRovtar @epsilonomega No preload on PS4 until April and for North America, the PS Store will update at midnight PST…so 3am EST.
