The PC release of Shadow Warrior 2 is happening in less than two months.

Shadow Warrior 2 is apparently closer to release than we thought. The game's official Twitter account revealed earlier that the PC version is due out "in less than two months."

Although the developer has yet to pin down an exact date, we at least know it's going to (probably) be sometime in October.

Shadow Warrior 2 is also in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but seeing as they weren't mentioned in the tweet, they may have been delayed, or could simply be out a couple of weeks after PC.

As well as Steam, Shadow Warrior 2 will also be available, DRM-free through GOG. Though either store page has yet to be updated with the October date.

If you missed it, developer Flying Wild Hog showed off 13 minutes of gameplay a few months ago. The game's mix of melee and guns has never looked stronger.
