Shadow Warrior has received a Rise of the Triad crossover, on the same day Rise of the Triad got a Shadow Warrior crossover. Say hello to survival mode and the lethal Excalibat weapon

Feeling deja fu? That could be because Rise of the Triad just added Shadow Warrior's trash-talking hero Lo Wang to its multiplayer mode, and he's packing Triad's lethal Excalibat weapon.

Now, the crossover pendulum has swung back the other way, with Shadow Warrior receiving a free, horde-like survival mode and Rise of the Triad's Excalibat as well. You can swap out Wang's katana for the weapon free of charge.

It's all part of a mad crossover between Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital, along with Interceptor Entertainment and Apogee Software.

In a statement, Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker said, “Enjoy the free content, nerds. Don’t forget my holiday cheer and festive giving of free stuff next year when I jack up prices on some face-melting indie games.”

That sounds like a threat.
