The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask fan film is finally here

Back in July, EmberLab studios revealed a teaser trailer for its Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask fan film. Simply put, it was absolutely gorgeous - and if you found that impressive, checking out the finished version should be the next item on your to-do list.

Going by the name Majora's Mask - Terrible Fate, this film briefly explores the origin story of Skull Kid before Link encounters him in the video game. There are a few direct nods to Zelda lore with fairy designs, musical flourishes, and (of course) the mask itself. But what's truly impressive is the near Pixar-level quality EmberLab brought to Nintendo's classic designs.

The film also doubles as a promotional piece for the second Times' End: Majora's Mask collection, a remix soundtrack created by Oxenfree sound designer Theophany. If you're curious, you can give it a listen here.
