Titanfall's incoming beta test will be closed, much like Respawn Entertainment's alpha. While entry won't be determined by pre-ordering the shooter, you'll still need a code to participate.

It came from Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella, who confirmed that it was a closed beta on Twitter:

The Titanfall beta build is currently in certification at Microsoft now and is rumoured to go live February 14. We'll have more when we hear it.
