Total War: Rome 2 will receive its second major campaign pack, Hannibal at the Gates, releases later this month.

Players will head to the Western Mediterranean during the second Punic War, and pay across a new campaign map focused on the "geopolitical situation" which brought upon a war between Scipio and Hannibal.

Five playable factions will receive new units along with newcomers Syacuse, the Arevaci and the Lusitani. Rome and Carthage have also been updated with a new civil tech tree based around diplomacy.

In addition, a free content update for Rome 2 will also drop soon - details will be revealed in the next episode of community TV show Rally Point.

Hannibal at the Gates will launch on March 27.
