Microsoft has elected not to make any new announces or showcases at The Game Awards 2014.
The news comes via Xbox marketing head Aaron Greenberg on Twitter.
Since many have asked we are not planning any new game announcements @thegameawards. Looking forward to watching a great show however

That's a little disappointing, as we had hoped to see Microsoft out in force. We know Sony will be, on top of its own PlayStation Experience event, and Nintendo also seems to be working pretty closely with organisers.
There will be a dozen reveals at The Game Awards on Friday, including Metal Gear Online, Bloodborne and The Order: 1886.
Thanks, Destructoid.
