What Makes the Sunday Boss Fight Hard

The Sunday, Harmonious Choir The Great Septimus, the boss fight is difficult because players enter the battle without the proper characters. The Sunday boss fight is based on break-effective damage, and bringing in characters that don’t have the correct damage type can make the fight extremely hard.

Other than that, this fight is much easier with characters that have AoE or Blast attacks. Weakness breaking the minions of the Great Septimus prevents it from dealing high damage and also provides shields to the team. If you have many single-target characters in the team, it can be hard to weakness break all the enemies on the battlefield, forcing your characters into a high amount of damage taken from the enemy.

Best Characters and Teams for the Sunday Boss Fight in HSR

This fight can be a piece of cake with the correct characters. Here is how you need to pick your characters to exploit Sunday’s weaknesses.

  • First, you need to pick characters with the Fire, Lightning, and Imaginary damage types. At least 3 of the team characters should have these damage types to make the fight easier.
  • The next thing you need to do is pick characters with AoE and Blast attacks. This way your characters will easily Weakness break the Choir minions and the Great Septimus. Characters with Ultimate AoE are also great for this fight. This is also true for Sustains and Support characters.
  • Use relics with high Break Effects on characters if possible and also use characters that scale on Break Effect. Characters like Ruan Mei and Gallagher are very good for this fight.

HSR Sunday Boss Fight Strategy

When fighting the Harmonious Choir, the main thing you need to focus on is weakness breaking all the minions as quickly as possible. Once you have weakness-broken all the Choir minions, focus on weakness-breaking The Great Septimus to deal Super Break damage. The Sunday boss’s weakness is weakness break, so continue doing that to easily win the fight.

During the third phase of the fight, you only need to focus on weakness-breaking The Embryo of Philosophy Sunday. He will have 10 layers of Toughness, and the more you break, the more you receive the shield to block the damage. Do not waste your turn by buffing your characters during the last phase. Only use buffs from the Ultimate, and focus on chipping down his toughness bar.

If you are able to completely deplete his toughness bar in the last phase, then you can easily defeat him without worrying about taking damage.
