How to Get Christmas Tree Ornaments in Escape from Tarkov
The Christmas Tree area in your hideout is there to help players craft what they need in Escape from Tarkov. Some of the rarest items, like the LEDX, can be crafted in the Christmas Tree for a limited time. However, these amazingly rare items require an absurd amount of Christmas Tree Ornaments. It’ll surely take a player upwards of 20+ raids to even get enough for one. But if you know which spots to loot, you’ll find these Christmas Tree Ornaments much faster. Here’s the best way to farm Christmas Tree Ornaments in Escape from Tarkov.

Screenshot by Prima GamesThere are three types of Christmas Tree Ornaments: White, Red, and Violet. Each falls under the same loot table or category under “valuables.” This means that when loot spawns typically contain valuables, those same spots can spawn Christmas Tree Ornaments. A quick example would be the Scav room in Stronghold or inside safes.
So, the best way to find Christmas Tree Ornaments is to find areas with valuable spawns. Since these areas will have “valuable” spawns, they will be hot areas for PvP.
While the Christmas Tree area in your hideout is active, the Christmas event is still happening, and Christmas Trees are scattered across all maps. These Christmas Tree spots spawn several valuable items, including these Christmas Tree Ornaments.
You want to go to all the Christmas Tree locations whenever you can to check if there is untouched loot around. Since these spawn valuables, you can get other quest items like Cat Figurines or Golden Neck Chains (Chumming quest).
It is important to note that there is only one “main” Christmas Tree on each map. The main one has way more loot spawns than the smaller tree, and there are tiny huts next to the main tree with several valuable spawns. It is still worth it to go and loot the small Christmas Trees since they may spawn one or two Christmas Tree Ornaments if you are lucky.

Most players would like to save up for the LEDX to get their THICC Case from the Therapist when they hit level 35 or to upgrade their Medstation to level 3, but getting 30 White Ornaments will take upwards of 20+ raids. If you are going for the craft, you should place your White Ornaments inside your container so you still keep them when you die. Crafting items in the Christmas Tree doesn’t require them to be “found in raid,” so you can always save them while in a raid.
For the more casual players, Gas Analyzers will help players finish the early quests. Crafting an M.U.L.E Stimulant Injector is also great, as you can keep it until you get the Samples quest from Peacekeeper.
