How To Move In Sims
Moving Sims involves the Town Hotel, a central hub where potential residents gather. Managed by Buddy, the sole staff member, the hotel is a two-story building where new Sims arrive, offering you a chance to meet and select potential new neighbors.
Keep in mind that the player cannot access the second floor, as it is reserved for Buddy and registered guests.
The Town Hotel may host one to five new Sims, depending on your town’s Star Level. Higher Star Levels unlock more resident options, while lower levels limit the number of potential arrivals.
If you’ve already invited all available Sims for your current Star Level, no new guests will appear until you either increase your town’s Star Level or ask a current resident to leave.
To move a Sim into your town, you’ll first need to interact with a guest at the hotel and ask them to join your community. Once they agree, the next step is to choose a vacant lot for their new home. Go around the town, find the perfect lot, and when chosen, select 'Move in Sim'.
