Here's Everything You Get In The MagicCon Amsterdam 2026 Festival In A Box
MagicCon Amsterdam is right around the corner, and once again, there will be a Magic: The Gathering Festival in a Box release to celebrate the event.
These special products bring together bold new card reprints, never-before-seen promo cards, and an entire 24-pack booster box of Mystery Booster 2.
If you're keen to get your hands on one of these, then you won't need to attend the event; you need only be in the right place, at the right time, with the right cash to order one, but be warned, they're not cheap, even if the value so far looks very good.
MagicCon Amsterdam 2026 Festival In A Box Release Date & Price
The Festival in a Box product for MagicCon Amsterdam 2026 will be available on July 13, 2026, exclusively on the Secret Lair website. You can sign up right now for email alerts close to when it goes live so you don't forget.
As for price, the Festival in a Box for MagicCon Amsterdam 2026 will cost $199.99. This is pretty great value when you consider that a Mystery Booster 2 box goes for as much as $300 on TCGPlayer right now. That's because this product is only found in Festival in a Box products and cannot be purchased separately unless someone resells it from their box.

Posts By Niall WalshWhat Do You Get In The MagicCon Amsterdam Festival In A Box?
I've already highlighted that you get a Mystery Booster 2 box in this Festival in a Box, but you're also going to get a brand-new Secret Lair drop and some never-before-seen promo cards.
The Secret Lair, titled Wild In Bloom, is printed entirely in foil. It focuses on cards that have strong land interaction or abilities such as Landfall. The cards included in the Wild In Bloom Secret Lair are:
- Nissa, Resurgent Animist
- Ramunap Excavator
- Six
- Tireless Provisioner
- Titania, Protector of Argoth
Each card has been given a vibrant new design with a floral or botanical theme running across all five cards.
As for the promo cards, these are ones we've never seen before and are simply numbered as Promo 1-4 for this product. They are:
- Llanowar Elves - Future Sight Frame, Chris Rahn Design (Foil)
- Utopia Sprawl - Textless Full Art (Foil)
- Atraxa, Praetors' Voice - Movie Poster Design (Foil)
- Bicycle Elemental - Playtest Card
The Atraxa is easily the most notable card of the lot, as the cheapest version of this card is currently $20, so it's a much-needed reprint, although not one I can see impacting the value of the existing cards too much. It's nice to see another unique Playtest Card, too, as these can often be chaotic fun when your pod chooses to Rule Zero them in your games.
Rule Zero effectively refers to having house rules where you can ignore ban lists and deck-building rules, provided everyone is in agreement.
Is The MagicCon Amsterdam Festival In A Box Worth Buying?
Based on value alone and the community reaction to this reveal, the MagicCon Amsterdam 2026 Festival in a Box in absolutely worth buying.
I've already touched on the value of the Atraxa reprint, but there's also value in the other new versions here. Nissa, Resurgent Animist is a $25 card, Ramunap Excavator is a $5 card, and while Llanowar Elves is a cheap card, this new promo version is sure to be popular with collectors.
Outside monetary value, there are simply some cool cards you may want for Commander decks or other concoctions in this product, so you don't need to view everything like an investment!
Considering the typical price of a new foil Secret Lair drop, the exclusive promo cards, and the current value of a Mystery Booster 2 box on the secondary market, you'd be silly to think you're not getting your money's worth at $199.99.
The issue, however, is going to be the same as it is for any Secret Lair drop, and that's scalpers. This product has buy-and-flip written all over it, and even though there is a purchase limit of two per person, I don't expect stock to stick around for long. So if you're interested in this box, get ready for a fight, and make sure you don't miss out by turning on the Secret Lair alert emails.
