Marvel Rivals Console Players Can Adjust Settings To Get A Legal Aimbot
Summary
- Marvel Rivals console players can change specific settings to enhance their aiming capabilities in Marvel Rivals.
- While not illegal, these settings give players an advantage that may be addressed by the game developers soon.
- Sounds like something Rocket would do.
Cheaters can be found in almost every multiplayer game whether it's wallhacks or aimbots. Games like Black Ops 6 and even Fortnite are filled with hackers and cheaters ruining the game for everyone else. They manage to bypass almost everything the devs throw at them in terms of anticheat tools.

This shouldn’t cost extra at all, mind you.

While it's usually PC players who are more suspect to cheating, it seems console players also may have a way to use an aimbot. However, it seems this aimbot is not any sort of cheat software, but a specific set of options within the game's settings.
Marvel Rivals Has A "Legal Aimbot" In The Settings For Console Players
Tweaking the settings in a particular way improves your aim significantly, as pointed out by one player in the Marvel Rivals subreddit. "Aim Assist Box Size ~ 20, Strength ~ 90, Ease In 0. Separately, activate 'disable aim assist at max deadzone', then ramp up 'Horizontal Max Deadzone Bosst' for easier 180s, which also allows you to lower your sensitivity for easier aiming overall. It's not literal 'Aimbot', but why not set the tools available to work for you instead of against you?"
It seems tuning the settings in this way will make it much easier to get quick and accurate shots out. While it's not exactly illegal, since the game allows you to do it, you can expect NetEase to address this in some time. It does offer an advantage to players who haven't made these settings.
"Console player here. Tested this. OP is correct," said one comment. "At least personally using these has made a noticeable difference for my heroes like Pyslocke and Luna. My aim's overall fine but I'm not good with snapiness. This helps."
It seems that a lot of console players aren't happy with the default settings for controllers anyway. This technique may offer them a boost for a bit, but it's unlikely that NetEase will let it stand.
