Metaphor ReFantazio PSA: Go Relieve Yourself For A Luck Increase
Summary
- Atlus' fascination with their protagonists visiting the bathroom continues in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
- By visiting the bathroom of the Gauntlet Runner on an Idlesday, you'll find that your hero can rid himself of "unwanted waste" to increase his Luck stat.
- With a high Luck stat, you can improve critical hits, multi-hit moves, and item acquisition, so go make sure your hero is nice and regular.
Metaphor: ReFantazio has several strange ways you can grab yourself some extra skill points or experience, just like in the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games before it. For some odd reason, modern Persona games have made a habit of going to the bathroom a big part of the games, tying the porcelain throne to the fatigue status in Persona 3, and allowing you to see your social bonds in Persona 5 Royal.
Metaphor: ReFantazio has not been able to escape Atlus' obsession with the toilet, and actually rewards players that visit the John often. In fact, getting rid of "unwanted waste" in Metaphor is quite possibly the most beneficial a toilet has ever been in an Atlus game, as visiting the toilet on the Gauntlet Runner on an Idlesday will increase your hero's Luck stat.
Metaphor ReFantazio Will Increase Your Luck If You Relieve Yourself On An Idlesday
This was first shared on Twitter by user UltimaShadowX, who thought that you could increase your Luck stat by visiting the bathroom every day that's divisible by 5. Fortunately, it's not that complex, as all you actually have to do is relieve yourself on an Idlesday, and you'll get a boost regardless. It's a handy way to increase your stats, and takes no time at all, so make sure to deposit your "unwanted waste" if you're in the Gauntlet Runner on that particular day.
UltimaShadowX also shared that you can get yourself a pretty decent EXP boost by showering too, so I guess it pays to be hygenic.
By doing this, you should be able to increase your Luck stat quite significantly, even if it may not be the most useful stat in the game. It still increases your chances of landing critical hits and multi-hit moves, improves your item acquisition chances, and inflict status ailments a bit easier. That alone makes it worth boosting as much as you can, and when you land a vital critical hit on an annoying boss to just edge out victory, you can then thank your frequent visits to the toilet for the save.
