Posts 1Rita's Rewind was first announced during this year's Summer Game Fest and stood out as one of the most exciting reveals of a rather dreary show. At the time, it was said to be releasing at some point in 2024, something that's seemed a little less likely as we get closer to the end. Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind Is Go-Go-ing To PC And Consoles On December 10
The release date for Rita's Rewind was confirmed in a brand-new trailer for that just went live. The new trailer doesn't show off much that we haven't already seen before, but it does give us the best glimpse yet at the various different types of levels and gameplay styles before finally giving us a glimpse at Tommy Oliver's roll in the game.
Pre-orders for Rita's Rewind, which will cost $34.99, open today for PlayStation and Steam and will begin for Xbox and Nintendo users "soon". PlayStation Plus subscribers and Steam users will receive a 15 percent discount for pre-ordering the game now, although it's not clear if that will be the case for Xbox and Switch players.
While a physical release isn't currently on the cards, Digital Eclipse confirmed on Twitter that it's interested in doing one if there's enough fan demand.
As a big beat-em-up fan, I've been excited about Rita's Rewind ever since it was first revealed, but even more so after getting the chance to play through a few levels at Gamescom earlier this year. That brief glimpse was enough to shoot it straight up my most-anticipated list, so I can't wait to see how the full game turns out.
