The Fall of Medville Meadery is one of the first side quests you will get your hands on in Mirthwood. Quests require you to use context clues to find out where you need to go, who you need to meet, and where all the loot is. This can sometimes leave players confused.

How To Initiate The Medville Meadery Quest
You can startThe Fall of Medville Meadery questline by finding a piece of paper attached to the town board in Brightoak. The quest begins with an inquiry saying that operations at the meadery have stopped suspiciously. You must travel north to find the meadery.
Head North From Brightoak
Or northeast from your farm. Follow the natural path until you find a crossroads withsignage. Keep heading north until the next crossroad sign. The signage should say that Medville is east and Foothills is west. Follow the natural path east or right until you find the Medville town sign.
There will be two bandits posted outside of the buildings in Medville. One in front of a manor and one in front of a shack to the left.
Find The Key To Unlock The Door
To continue the quest, you must enter the Medville manor. The key to the front doors can be found on a stone table southeast of the manor, within the grounds of Medville. On this stone table, you should find the Manor Key and a note.
Before you enter the manor, you should loot the shack to the left. There is a banditin front of this shack. The shack contains a chest with theBeekeeper's Hat and some coins.

Meadery Manor Loot
Once inside the manor, head upstairs to find a bedroom key on thetable. This will unlock the door back on the main floor. The chest on the upstairs floor contains a piece of the Beekeeper’s set, the Beekeeper's Cote. The chest is against the wall near a bed and will also contain an Iron Bar.

The locked door on the main floor leads to stairs heading to a bedroom. There will be a dead person lying here. The body can be looted for Barrel-Aged Mead.
