Posts By Zunair ShafiqThere are three races throughout the weekend, and the point total for Avengers Racers in Monopoly Go is cumulative. At the end of the event (which is on October 13 around 3PM EST), the game will then award prizes based on your team's final leaderboard position.
How To Play Avengers Racers
Ready for the next team racers event in Monopoly Go? Running from the team selection on October 9 until October 13, we'll be teaming up with three other players to collectively earn tokens to use on your cumulative point total for the race. In order to participate, you'll need to collect flag tokens, which can be done by:
- Reaching milestone goals in tournaments and events, of which there will be several throughout the weekend to provide you with ample tokens to play Avengers Racers.
- Collecting them from the game board as you roll and land on tiles that have Avengers Racers flags on them.
- When you collect tokens from around the board, they're impacted by your dice roll multiplier. You'll earn one flag by default, but using higher multipliers rewards you with that many flags instead. For example, if you roll with a dice multiplier of five, you'll receive five free Avengers Racers tokens when you land on a space with a flag on it instead of the standard one.
- Finishing Daily Goals during the event, which rewards you with, among other things, flags for Avengers Racers.
- Choosing them as Avengers Racers rewards, since you'll have ample opportunity to collect extra flag tokens as lap rewards this weekend.
Once you've got enough tokens to play, head onto your team's race board and watch as the game catches up with anything other players may have done since the last time you played. Once the game has been made current, you'll be able to roll the three dice at the bottom of the screen to help progress your team's car. Since your team is working together on this, you'll want to play Monopoly Go pretty regularly this weekend to help out!
You cannot change teammates midway through the Avengers Racers event. It's always wise to partner with your most active friends during Monopoly Go race events to be sure you're playing with people willing to help out in the event! Nothing tanks a team's chance at victory quite like a player who doesn't participate.
When you're rolling for Avengers Rollers, you'll have three total dice to roll at once, and you'll be able to choose how many tokens you'd like to wager when you roll with your final score impacted by this multiplier. You'll have your score doubled for rolling doubles, and this perk furthers when the game triples your score for rolling triples in the event.
As you roll your dice, your team's vehicle will progress around the Avengers Racers track, and you can watch in real time as other players on opposing teams roll to compete. As you progress, you'll receive lap rewards of your choice as your team makes progress. Be sure to keep your eye on the starting line to collect the prizes as they unlock - these will be things like free dice rolls, sticker packs, stacks of cash, free Avengers Racers tokens, or even new Avengers-themed emojis.
There are three total races over the course of the event, and your final score at the end of the weekend is your team's cumulative score from each race. Your final place at the end of the event determines the event you and your teammates receive.
There are plenty of rewards in Avengers Racers that make it well worth participating! The majority of them are sticker packs in a variety of different colors, but the real highlight is that the winning team of the weekend will receive a Wild Sticker as one of their many rewards. Receiving a Wild Sticker allows you to choose any sticker of any rarity to receive immediately for any Marvel Go sticker album!
There are a number of cosmetic rewards as well, with only the fourth place team receiving no such reward. We've got the Captain America shield available as a new shield skin for the top three teams on each leaderboard, and the Hulk Bumper token of everyone's favorite green hero riding on a bumper car goes to everyone on the first place team at the end of the weekend.
