Scopely is bringing the seasonal spooky spirit to Monopoly Go this week with the introduction of the Scary Cake Partners event! Running from 8:30AM EST on October 22 until 4PM EST on October 27, you've got several days to team up with four players from your friends list to work together on dessert!

How To Play Scary Cake Partners
When you first log into Monopoly Go after 8:30AM EST on October 22, you'll see the center of your Monopoly Go game board transformed into a creepy kitchen, since this is where you'll spend the next few days playing Scary Cake Partners! To begin, choose four players from your friends list to team up with for the duration of the event.
You're not able to switch partners once you've chosen them in Scary Cake Partners for Monopoly Go this week, so be sure you're choosing the most active players on your friends list to partner up with. The more active your partner is during the event, the fewer tokens you'll need to spend on your own to account for their absence.
Throughout the course of Scary Cake Partners, you'll notice that you earn candy tokens from other events in Monopoly Go to be used toward the progression of your four desserts. You'll earn more candy tokens by:
- Participating in other events happening during the Scary Cake Partners event, like the daily tournaments on the right side of your screen or the longer-term events at the top.
- Completing daily quick wins, which are simple daily tasks you'll complete by playing normally, so why not be doubly rewarded for them?
- Collecting free bonuses from Monopoly Go, which can be done in a number of ways.
- You get a free slew of items every eight hours in the store, and this payout will include Scary Cake Partners tokens for the duration of the event, in addition to those dice rolls and cash payouts.
- There's a bonus in the Tycoon Club shop list, at the bottom past the microtransaction deals.
- The Benefits tab in the Tycoon Club also offers periodic free rewards.
- Landing on tiles with candies on them, which you'll see dotted around the game board while the event is active.
- Receiving them from partners who have landed on the Partner tile as they spin the wheel to spend their own Scary Cake Partners tokens.
Once you've amassed some candies to use for Scary Cake Partners, tap in the center of your board to enter the screen for the event itself. Here, you'll be able to see your four partnership cakes (as well as if your partners have made any progress since the last time you logged in). Choose which cake you'd like to work on, and spend your candy tokens to upgrade your partner cakes.
The four partnership cakes require a total of 80,000 points each to finish, which means you've got a good amount of wheel spinning in your future this week! To participate in Scary Cake Partners in Monopoly Go, you'll want to spin the wheel for each of your partnerships to earn points toward progressing your cake. There are milestone rewards along the way to help replenish the dice rolls you're spending, as well as to give you a handful of other freebies.
We don't seem to have the tile on the Scary Cake Partners wheel that triggered another free spin with wildly increased payouts like we had last month, unfortunately, but there's still the usual slew of point payouts on the Scary Cake Partners wheel in Monopoly Go this week. This includes spots that give free Scary Cake Partners tokens to your partner, as well as spots that allow you a second spin for no extra cost. Accumulate points to build your cakes before the event is over!
Should you finish all four of your Scary Cake Partners desserts before the end of the event, you'll receive the grand prize! The amount of money you make on every Scary Cake Partners reward labeled "Cash Reward" is directly proportionate to your Monopoly Go net worth. As your total net worth increases (by way of building up your game boards and landing on completed monopolies with hotels on each tile in the set), you'll find yourself bringing in more money on these milestones to compensate.
