From mages to thieves, rings can put the finishing touches on several different builds, if you have the coin to buy them or the patience to hunt them down. From rings that stand alone to those that function best in tandem, these are the most powerful rings in Oblivion Remastered.

Enchantments listed are for the max level item, where applicable.

8 Ring Of Mind Shielding

  • Reflect Spell 12 percent
  • Reflect Magic 12 percent

The Ring of Mind Shielding isn't particularly flashy, but it's a massive help when filling out your anti-magic build. This ring won't necessarily be the crux of your build, but it functions well as an addition to other pieces that boast the Reflect Spell and Magic enchantments.

Ideally, this ring works best for warriors or characters who won't be using magic, since there are better options involving absorbing spells rather than simply sending them back to your enemies.

7 Ring Of Wizardry

  • Fortify Alchemy, Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, Mysticism, and Restoration by ten points

Speaking of mages, the Ring of Wizardry stands out as one of the best early to mid-game options for well-rounded magic users. This ring is especially helpful if you need help casting Mysticism spells early in the game to boost your level higher.

The only downside to this ring is that it becomes useless once you spend the time to level all of your magical-based attributes to 100, which isn't very difficult to do if you exploit spell absorption and continuously cast magic.

6 Ring Of Lordship (Dementia)

  • Chameleon 32 percent
  • Fortify Endurance by 20 points
  • Resist Poison 55 percent

The Ring of Lordship is one of the best rings for thieves to use, particularly if you wait until you're level 30 or higher to get the ring as a reward from the Ritual of Dementia in the Shivering Isles. The 32 percent Chameleon alone is already more than you can get from the best Sigil Stone, so that's a strong start.

In addition, the extra Endurance and resistance to poison should make your experience in the Shivering Isles much more pleasant, as the enemies tend to inflict poison or drain your attributes, like Endurance.

5 Ring Of Perfection

  • Fortifies all attributes by 10 points

The Ring of Perfection may sound like hyperbole, but it bestows the best generalist enchantment in the game: a plus ten to every attribute. While your build might not need to equally include Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, Agility, Speed, Endurance, Personality, and Luck, this ring is a nice addition if you can find it.

While this ring is a random drop, it's worth farming high-level enemies for it if you still haven't found it by the time you hit level 20. If you're not sure what you want to specialize in, this ring is an excellent placeholder while you figure things out.

4 Spectre Ring

  • Chameleon 25 percent
  • Feather 100 points
  • Fortify Sneak by five points
  • Fortify Security by five points
  • Drain Strength by ten points
  • Drain Endurance by five points

The Spectre Ring is a wonderful addition to Oblivion Remastered, as this powerful piece of jewelry wasn't available in the original version of the game. In Oblivion Remastered, you can buy it from Red Diamond Jewelry in the Imperial City Market District for somewhere in the neighborhood of 8,000 gold, depending on your Mercantile skill.

Despite the hefty cost, this is a must-have ring if you're interested in attaining 100 percent Chameleon so that you can be completely ignored by enemies. If combined with the Ring of Lordship, you'll have 57 percent Chameleon from those two rings alone.

3 Sorcerer’s Ring

  • Spell Absorption 25 percent
  • Fortify Magicka 25 points

This is arguably the best ring in the game for mages, especially during the late-game when enemies are hurling high-powered spells at you. Spell Absorption is one of the strongest enchantments in the game, especially when combined with the Atronach birthsign, which bestows a permanent 50 percent Spell Absorption.

If you combine this ring with The Atronach, you'll already have 75 percent Spell Absorption, which is enough to nearly guarantee that spells cast on you will feed your magicka pool, with no ill effects. A third armor piece to bring your total to 100 is a simple ask, but it is a luxury more than a necessity.

2 Ring Of Khajiiti

  • Chameleon 35 percent
  • Fortify Speed ten points

The Ring of Khajiiti is arguably the best single piece of gear for thief characters, as it grants the highest Chameleon bonus of any ring, plus gives you ten more points of Speed, which, even when maxed out, still provides the additional benefit of increasingly fast movement.

If you're looking to achieve 100 percent Chameleon, you can combine this with the Ring of Lordship to gain 67 percent Chameleon via your ring slots. This leaves only 33 percent left to achieve your goal, which can be attained via powerful Illusion magic if you don't want to use any other armor pieces with Chameleon.

1 Mundane Ring

  • Reflect Spell 35 percent
  • Resist Magic 50 percent

While this ring comes with the same caveat as the Ring of Mind Shielding, there's no denying that the Mundane Ring offers an unbelievable set of boons that serve as the centerpiece of any Reflect build. While the Mundane Ring isn't a guaranteed drop unless you fight the Camoran clan at level 25 or above, its random drop chance allows you to get two of these rings.

With two Mundane Rings, you'll have a 70 percent chance of Reflecting Spells – an extremely likely chance – plus complete immunity to Magic, so you won't be damaged by magic anyway. The Mundane Ring's ability to make you nearly invincible earns it the title of the best ring in Oblivion Remastered.
