Once you hit a certain point in Amber Isle, you'll become acquainted with one of the game's main features when it comes to the gameplay cycle: invitations. Amber Isle starts off as a small, kinda barren wasteland of lush environments and not much civilisation outside the tiny central town.

It is your job, then, as the new shopkeeper, to decorate the island, meet the visitors to the island, and send them invitations (with a little bribe within) to make Amber Isle a successful and comfortable come for all types of Paleofolk. This will require a fair bit of effort, especially when starting out.

All Woodbury Forest Paleofolk Invitation Requirements

There are three steps to inviting a Paleofolk to Amber Isle:

• Meet them in person after unlocking the region they'll live within.
• Satisfy their personal requirements, which largely involve making their chosen region's Island Rating.
• Send them an invitation from the Amber Isle post office, along with some Amber as payment.

Not every Paleofolk will be available to meet when you first unlock the forest region. Sometimes, they take a few days to start appearing, and some will be located behind large obstacles that require upgraded tools to access. You will know that a new Paleofolk is around to meet when a question mark icon appears on your map.

Tips To Increase Island Rating

• The only rating that matters is the rating within Woodbury Forest.
• Simply clearing up all the debris you can find and inviting some Paleofolk will be enough to satisfy most requirements. Debris causes a minus one malus before being picked up, and each Paleofolk invited to the region will provide more than ten points to your goals.
• Delivering Amber and resources to the delivery boxes around the forest will also increase your rating significantly.
