It's the age-old problem, isn't it? You're playing a game that requires you to collect a bunch of resources from the wild, armed with common tools of varying qualities. You're happily plugging away at your goals, and then oh no! Sudden shock! Your inventory is full and you must return to your home to store some items.

PostsAmber Isle, as cosy as it is, is no stranger to this frustrating modern problem. Luckily, there is a very helpful friend to meet during your adventure as the island's new resident shopkeeper. We'll walk you through every step of this process, from meeting a friend to cleaning up the island to impress her.
How To Increase Your Inventory Size
As you may have guessed from the quests that let you improve your tools, unlock new features with photo mode, or add new fast travel points, inventory expansions are gated behind completing quests for a certain Paleofolk. In this case, it is Molly, a meiolania who lives on Mt. Morrisong.
After meeting her and inviting her (which requires a Mt. Morrisong rating of 35 percent and 2,200 Amber), you'll unlock her first quest upon heading to her house after construction.
Molly has three quests available to unlock, each of which has a similar goal and each of them increasing the number of item slots you have in your inventory:
- One Folk's Trash, which requires that you remove all the Debris on Mt. Morrisong.
- Deep Pockets, which requires that you remove all the Debris on Shell Creek.
- All That Glitters, which requires that you remove all the Debris in a late-game area.
Naturally, you'll need to progress the story enough to unlock the required areas before you can take on and then complete these quests.
During our playthrough, we encountered a bug that halted our story progress, preventing us from reaching the final areas. However, we can see that Molly's final quest does require those areas to be unlocked, so we're confident in asserting that the quest will be similar to the earlier examples.
These quests are also quite handy for improving your Island Rating: when you have them selected as your tracked quest, your quest tracker will show you a very easy-to-follow line towards the nearest pile of Debris that you need to clear up. This makes completing the quest an absolute breeze and prevents you from searching for well-hidden piles of Debris.
