Apex Legends Heirlooms Are Cheaper To Buy In Real Life, And You Get To Keep Them

In an age where online games can shut up shop at any moment, is it worth spending your money on them?

Although using Heirlooms will not boost your player’s stats, they offer a unique way to customize your character’s appearance or moves. But before getting into the fine details, let’s first understand what Heirlooms actually are.

What Are Heirlooms?

Heirlooms are extremely rare cosmetics or skins in Apex Legends, allowing players to stand out with these mythic items. Each Legend has its own Heirloom set, and some even provide multiple options to choose from.

These Heirloom packs contain any three items from a broad selection, including melee weapons, poses, intro quips, finisher moves, and even emotes to use during matches.

Usually, the makers release a single set of Heirloom per season.

How To Track Your Heirloom Progress?

Apex Legends doesn’t currently offer any built-in feature to track your pack-opening progress. To help with this, several third-party trackers are available online that can estimate your progress. You can check out an Apex Legends Tracker right here.

These trackers require you to input details like your account level and the levels you’ve achieved in previous Battle Passes to calculate how many packs you’ve opened. You can view your stats for each Season directly in Apex Legends to gather this information.

Simply hover over your profile badge while you are in the matchmaking lobby and select "Inspect." From there, you can choose the specific season, and all your stats will be displayed.

You'll then need to enter these details into the tracker for it to calculate your progress. Once you’ve provided the necessary details, the tracker will display the number of packs you’ve opened and tell you when you’ll hit the 500-pack mark to receive your next set of Heirloom Shards.

How To Obtain Heirlooms?

There are a few tips that can help you obtain an Heirloom in Apex Legends. The easiest method is purchasing them using the extremely rare Heirloom Shards from the in-game store. You’ll need a total of 150 Heirloom Shards to buy a single set.

Players can get the Heirloom Shards by opening Apex Packs, though the game states there’s less than a one percent chance of acquiring them this way.

Apex Packs themselves can be purchased from the in-game store using coins. Currently, the game offers a wide range of Heirloom sets for different Legends. Here’s a list of all available Heirloom Sets in Apex Legends:
