This is according to stats put together by the folks over at ResetEra (including users Angie and BrickArts295), who have been keeping track of all the various Game of the Year prizes across the gaming industry. This includes awards shows decided by professionals, awards given by individual outlets, and readers' choice awards.

One of the awards is ours, as TheGamer named Astro Bot 2024's Game of the Year.

According to the data, Astro Bot has collectively picked up 196 awards. This is a staggering lead and makes it clear that many believe that PlayStation's platformer really was the best game that 2024 has to offer. The runners-up include:

The most recent major award that Astro Bot won was at the gaming BAFTAs. These were held earlier this week, with Astro Bot taking home Game of the Year and four other awards.
