You play as a Cleaner; your mission is to take back territories from the Ridden - B4B's answer to zombies - and collect Supply Points. Each time to complete a Supply Line, you'll unlock an array of cards or cosmetics to keep yourself looking and shooting sharp outside the safety of Fort Hope. Here's how to craft a masterful build for Karlee to stack the odds in your favor.

Karlee's Character Traits

Before even thinking about your cards, you'll want to get acquainted with Karlee herself. Once a lone wolf operating on a solo mission, Karlee's strengths lie in her situational awareness, speed, and ability to think (and act) on her feet.

You start with the following abilities:

  • Danger Sense: Sense nearby Special Infected
  • Dextrous: Adds 50 percent speed to your whole team
  • Bag of Tricks: One extra quick inventory slot
  • Nimble Fingered: Start every run with a toolkit

These four traits shape her to be a formidable all-rounder. While Karlee may not be the best Cleaner of the bunch in terms of brute strength, her ability to watch her own back (as well as her teammates') makes her an invaluable addition to any squad. Pair this with her passive speed buff, and you have a valuable Cleaner of utility out on the field.

Best Card Build For Karlee

Karlee provides the foundations for an excellently well-rounded Cleaner; you need to add more Brawn and Discipline cards to your hand. These are ten cards to consider adding to your build:

Battle Lust is useful if you are a fan of melee gameplay, awarding you a health point for every two Ridden that you slay, while the fortune card Run And Gun allows you to shoot and keep sprinting at the same time. These let Karlee stay mobile and keep up the offense, using her Danger Sense toscope out and take down Special Infected before they get too close.

Overwatch and Face Your Fears are two cards that have excellent interplay. The first gives teammates five additional health points when standing closer to an enemy you're shooting, while the other gives you a health boost in close-range combat.

Cards For Newer Players

Karlee plays solidly using the Starter card build, which should act as a guide when crafting specific builds. Don't scoff at basic cards like Second Chance, which gives you an extra life state. This can be invaluable, especially while playing by yourself in offline mode.
