Baldur's Gate 3's Console Version Officially Receives 20 New Pieces Of Content Including A God Mode
Baldur's Gate 3 console players are no strangers to content drops. Every week or two, Larian Studios vets, approves, and uploads a range of new additions, often including classes, subclasses, races, and equipment. Most recently, it added a Yassified Withers, but other new additions have included Dhampir and Sea Elf races, a class centered around a muscly monk, and werewolf Shadowheart.
Over the weekend, Larian began to upload its next batch of additions, and Baldur's Gate 3 console players received 20 of them. This includes new races, classes, subclasses, and a game-changing God Mode.
Baldur's Gate 3's Console Version Just Got A Whopping 20 New Pieces Of Content
While the Baldur's Gate 3 console mod additions seem to be slowing down, or at least becoming more sporadic, probably in part due to Larian working on its next title, Divinity, they are still flowing. Not quite as fast as PC players get them, of course, with that total now up to well over 18,000, but slowly and surely, they're making their way across.
The latest drop, which took place over two recent days, included 20 pieces of content, which you can check out below:
- Origin Class Unlocker - Allows Origin characters to select their Class during character creation. Gives them the starting equipment for the selected class.
- God Hero - Allows you to toggle two passives, God Mode and Hero Mode. God Mode provides immortality, immense power, and immunity to all types of damage. Hero Mode grants high power and resistance to all types of damage.
- More Emotes - Adds 461 new emotes.
- Duskblade: Feats on Even Levels - Extends Duskblade class mod with 'Feats on Even Levels' homebrew rule.
- Monk: Way of the Crimson Fist - Adds a Durge-themed subclass for Monks that replicates a similar feel to the OP Tavern Brawler subclass.
- Paladin's Deity - Allows you to choose a deity to follow as a Paladin.
- Sword Dancers of Eilistraee: Feat Every 2 Levels - Extends Sword Dancers of Eilistraee class mod with 'Feats on Even Levels' homebrew rule.
- Paladin: Oath of the Hells - Adds a homebrew Paladin Oathbreaker subclass focused on hellish powers and fire damage.
- Mantle of Blood: A Bhaal-Themed Cloak - Adds a Bhaal-themed cloak that resurrects you as a Blood Ghost when you fall in battle.
- Ezuneo's Draconic Body Scales - Adds the option of scales for the Draconic Sorcerer Tav custom body.
- Half-Elf, Half-Orc Subrace - Adds a Half-Elf, Half-Orc subrace for Half-Elves.
- Interrupted Music Performance Fixer - Helps stop other mods in your mod list accidentally causing interruptions of music performances and crowd reactions.
- Way of Steel: An Armoured Monk - Adds a monk subclass that weaves armour into their martial arts techniques.
- Bernard Evolved - Allows you to build Bernard 2.0 and summon it to aid in combat.
- Indoct's Subtler Piercings - Adds a range of smaller, subtler gold and silver piercings.
- Solo Leveling Daggers: Progressive Weapons - Adds four daggers themed from the anime Solo Leveling.
- Nia's Heads Pack 2 - Adds seven head presets (four for BT1 and three for BT2) for Elves, Drow, Half Elves, and Humans.
- Hellbound Everburn Blade: Progressive Weapon - Adds a powered-up progressive version of the Everburn Blade.
- RoguishlyHandsomeHair - Adds a hairstyle inspired by Assassin's Creed Black Flag's Edward Kenway.
I've mentioned before that I'm not much of a Monk player, so these two new subclasses don't do a great deal for me. However, the Mantle of Blood seems like a really interesting addition. It allows you to play a little more recklessly, knowing you'll be resurrected, and it might be something I add on in my next playthrough.
