While there still is no firm release date for Battlefield 6, more and more gameplay elements are beginning to circulate online, as players continue to be involved in Electronic Arts' community-based Battlefield Labs initiative. The program, which was designed to help avoid another disastrous launch a la Battlefield 2042, had over 1.3 million people attempting to sign up in order to playtest the next entry in the first-person shooter franchise.

Since its first test in early March, gameplay footage has continued to leak online, even though NDAs are a key part of the program. In this latest batch, more vehicular combat, destruction and executions are shown.

Battlefield 6 Is One Leaky Faucet

A cursory search of "Batlefield 6" on social media has brought forth tons of footage from the most recent playtest. In one leak, the audio of fighter jets can be heard.

Another gameplay leak showcased some of the game's signature destruction, including a house completely collapsing near a player.

Elsewhere, both executions with dog tag removal, plus some fighter jet gameplay were shared online.

Perhaps most noteworthy is the fact that this most recent batch of leaks is happening after EA explicitly asked fans to stop leaking things in the first place.

After things came to a head within the Battlefield community over the potential of Skill-based Matchmaking (SBMM) being part of Battlefield 6, the game's community manager took a strong stance against those breaking NDAs to leak the game online.

In a lengthy post on Reddit, they noted how leaks are "doing damage to the trust and transparency we want to establish." While it was established that those who break the NDA will continue to be removed, it seemed like the larger hope was that leaks would stop altogether. Clearly, that isn't happening, leaving EA in a precarious position.
