Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has released its final set of weekly challenges, bringing with it the final new Aftermarket Part. Completing any five challenges this week will unlock the JAK Voltstorm Kit, a modification for the Stormender launcher that turns it into a powerful taser.

While it might not be the strongest attachment, this is also the last time you'll be able to unlock an exclusive seasonal camo by acquiring every Season 6 AMP. This guide will briefly explain how the Stormender's new Aftermarket Part works, then cover how to complete the last 21 challenges in Modern Warfare 3.

Week 4 Challenge Reward

The final weekly challenge reward in Modern Warfare 3 is the JAK Voltstorm Kit for the Stormender launcher. This transforms the weapon into a lethal taser that can chain between targets, although using this weapon is fairly clunky. Your effectiveness against killstreaks is significantly reduced with this AMP, so keep that in mind.

When equipped, you'll need to charge the weapon for a second before it can fire. This will unleash a lightning projectile that suffers from extreme damage falloff. You need to be practically in melee range to use much use. It is a one-hit kill if you land a direct torso shot up close, and the taser can chain between targets if they're close. It's impractical for Multiplayer (excluding Hardcore modes), but it could see play in MWZ when Pack-A-Punched.

Multiplayer Challenges

Multiplayer Challenges Challenge XP Reward Get 25 kills while moving. 2,500 XP Get 20 kills after having recently swapped weapons. 5,000 XP Get 20 hipfire kills. 5,000 XP Get 10 kills with a weapon set to full-auto fire. 5,000 XP Get 10 quickscope kills. 7,500 XP EMP 5 operators or killstreaks. 7,500 XP Destroy 5 killstreaks. 10,000 XP

Tips

  • A quickscope kill is when you eliminate an opponent within a second of aiming your weapon.
    • Any weapon can get quickscope kills for this challenge, not just snipers.
  • Use EMP Grenades or the DDoS Field Upgrade for easy EMP tags.
  • You can use the Stormender to destroy enemy UAV killstreaks.

Tips

  • Abominations can spawn in the High Threat Zone (red region). HVT Contracts usually spawn one.
  • Warlords are always found in a marked fortress on your map. Raid a Mercenary base for a code to get inside, or buy one from a shop.
  • Cryofreeze ammo is a common drop from Infested Strongholds and Contracts.

Warzone Challenges

Battle Royale Challenges Challenge XP Reward Get 10 kills or assists. 2,500 XP In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the northwest region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo). 5,000 XP In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor). 5,000 XP Complete 15 contracts in Warzone. 5,000 XP In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms). 7,500 XP In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the central region (Old Town, Low Town). 7,500 XP In Warzone, place in the top ten 5 times. 10,000 XP

Tip

  • You must complete the cache challenges in Urzikstan.
