Fast travel is always a welcome feature in games that involve extensive travel. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn't set in a big open world, but you still do plenty of wandering around through different locations. Sometimes, you may need to return to a place to find something or take on an enemy you avoided earlier due to being under-leveled.

Posts By Matt ArnoldRunning all the way back can be tiresome, as enemies may have returned, and it's not like you're controlling the quickest characters that ever lived. This is a perfect time to use the game's fast travel system. First, though, you will need to know how it works. All of that information is included here.
How Fast Travel Works In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
The fast travel system in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn't one where you can open a map, select a location, and teleport straight there. You can only fast-travel from the expedition flags, which the game refers to as rest points. These are the places where you upgrade attributes, unlock skills, and rest.
You naturally come across them quite regularly as you're playing the game.
Simply interact with one and select 'fast travel'; then, choose where you want to go. You can only go to other flags that you've already seen and interacted with.
You unlock the ability to fast travel automatically when you've interacted with at least two flags.
You may notice that none of these flags appear on the big Continent map. This is because there is no fast travel around that map. You can only fast travel when you're in a specific region, such as Spring Meadows, Flying Waters, or any of the others. Also, you can only travel between flags within that region. As such, if you're in Flying Waters, you can't jump back to Spring Meadows. So, there are some limitations to the fast travel system in this game.
