The GS45 is a powerful pistol in all game types in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This variant of the USP 45 is a potential two-tap in core multiplayer and morphs into the iconic Mustang & Sally explosive sidearms in Zombies. If you're looking for a reliable pistol in every situation, the GS45 won't let you down.

Today, we'll be looking at two builds for the GS45 that greatly improve the pistol's performance. The first build is focused on improving its MP performance, while the second build is tailored for optimizing the Pack-A-Punched version you can get in Zombies.

Multiplayer GS45 Build

GS45 Build Attachment Pros And Cons Advanced Stats Kepler Microflex (Optic)
  • +ADS Pellet Spread
  • N/A
Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • +Damage Range
  • +33% Effective Range
Long Barrel (Barrel)
  • +Damage Range
  • +40% Effective Range
Extended Mag I (Magazine)
  • +Magazine Size
  • -Reload Quickness
  • 17-Round Magazine
  • -7% Reload Speed
Quickdraw Grip (Rear Grip)
  • +Aim Down Sights Speed
  • -44% ADS Speed

Pistols are surprisingly strong in multiplayer if you're within close range, especially once you throw a Long Barrel on to increase the weapon's two-tap range. A Quickdraw Grip greatly buffs your ADS speed, while the Extended Mag I nearly doubles your magazine size at the cost of a minor reload speed hit. We recommend a Suppressor to stay off enemy radar and any optic for clear enemy tracking during a gunfight.

Loadout Recommendations

Perks Specialty Recon Column One Ghost, Ninja Column Two Fast Hands Column Three Vigilance Equipment Wildcard Perk Greed Lethal Preference Tactical Stim Field Upgrade War Cry

A suppressed pistol works great with the Recon specialty. Throw on Ghost to stay off enemy radar, then use Ghost to muffle your footstep audio. We recommend Vigilance to trigger Recon's set bonus. For the last perk, use Fast Hands to instantly swap to your GS45.

Zombies GS45 Build

GS45 Build Attachment Pros And Cons Advanced Stats Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • +Zombies are more likely to drop Salvage.
  • N/A
Short Barrel (Barrel)
  • +Jumping ADS Speed
  • +Jumping Sprint to Fire Speed
  • Removes midair penalties for ADS and Sprint to Fire
CQB Grip (Rear Grip)
  • +Dive to Fire Speed
  • +Slide to Fire Speed
  • +Sprint to Fire Speed
  • -23% Sprint to Fire Delay
  • -50% Slide to Fire Delay
Akimbo GS45 (Stock)
  • Dual Wield
  • +56% Hipfire Accuracy
Steady Aim Laser (Laser)
  • +Hipfire Accuracy
  • Laser Visible in Hipfire
  • -16% Hipfire Accuracy

If you're using the GS45 in Zombies, you're either farming camos or aim to Pack-A-Punch the weapon to make it an explosive firearm. In the latter case, you'll want to throw on Akimbo to double your burst DPS. This greatly lowers your hipfire accuracy, but you can remedy this with the Steady Aim Laser.

For handling, you'll want a Short Barrel to mitigate midair penalties for sprint-to-fire stats and the CQC Grip to further reduce your sprint-to-fire delay. Throw on a Suppressor to spawn more Salvage from kills.
