Control Resonant Finally Has A Release Date, Launching This September
Control Resonant is Remedy Entertainment's next big game, which is a sequel to the original game that came out a good while ago now, yet plays nothing like it. It's more of an RPG than the first game, and while we've seen plenty of the game so far thanks to a couple of trailers, we've still been missing that all-important release date.
Thankfully, this month's State of Play showcase finally gave us that answer, as it was revealed that Control Resonant will be launching on September 24 later this year.
Control Resonant Finally Has A Release Date
We got this date during a nice, chunky trailer for the game, giving us some more story details and interesting cutscenes. It was also announced that the game is now currently available for pre-order, and some nice pre-order bonuses were revealed for those that do, such as 48 hour early access, a digital artbook, and an outfit for the game's main character.

Mikael Kasurinen believes Control Resonant is the culmination of everything he's ever wanted to create.
Posts By Jack ColemanThere wasn't much more info shown off besides that, though we don't really need any more. We've already seen the game's premise and combat system, so anything else would be a little overkill. Then again, Remedy could probably do with getting as many eyes on it as possible, seeing as though it'll need a winner after the disaster that was FBC Firebreak.
Hopefully, Control Resonant will be a banger for Remedy, but it's got some stiff competition. Not only do we now have a new Silent Hill game launching on the same day, but GTA 6 is also launching nearby. Those two alone could snap up a potential Control Resonant buyers, though I'm sure Remedy has confidence in what it has.
