Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Infestation Part 2 Quest Walkthrough

As you progress with the quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll get to know all the different Disney and Pixar characters as your neighbors. Each of them has a role to play in the village, from making others laugh to fighting against danger and joining a club. Timon and Pumbaa specifically are tasked with pest control.

Where did they come from?

However, they aren't just any pests. The Night Mites you're hunting are just as dangerous as the Night Thorns and must be dealt with swiftly to prevent another Forgetting from happening. Here's how you can find and thwart these pesky bugs with your friends.

Where To Find Night Mites In The Village

After completing the previous part of the quest, this chapter begins. Speak with Pumbaa to find out where more of the Night Mites are coming from. You'll need to clear out the Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust, and Dazzle Beach.

There are two nests and four Night mites in each biome, for a total of six nests and a dozen bugs. The Night Mites move quickly, so you'll have to carefully time your movements to pick them up. You need only interact with the nests to break them.

If you're having trouble finding the nests, enter furniture mode and move things around or follow the Night Mites.

After you collect all the Night Mites and destroy the nests, check back in with Pumbaa and regroup with Timon.

Where To Find Night Mites In Villager's Houses

Pumbaa and Timon have found even more Night Mites, and they're within the homes of various villagers around the valley. You'll need to enter their homes and clear out all the bugs!

Prince Eric's Castle

First on the list is Prince Eric. Make your way to his castle and head inside. You'll spot three Night Mites scuttling around the castle interior, so hurry to collect them. Once you have them, all is quiet.

However, you'll be prompted to double-check the castle. A barrel in the far corner of the room is moving and has a dark shadow. Interact with it and several more Night Mites will jump out and scatter.

Gather the last of the Night Mites here, then talk to Pumbaa to learn which Villagers have been affected by the infestation.

Daisy Duck's House

Next, head to Daisy Duck's house. Inside, you'll find three more Night Mites scrambling about. Thankfully, all of Daisy's furniture helps corral the bugs, so it's easier to catch them.

Pick up each of the bugs, then head out to the next villager's house.

WALL-E's Truck

Make your way to WALL-E's truck, where another set of three Night Mites will be darting across the floors. They can get stuck between the benches, so use them to your advantage to gather up the bugs.

Mike And Sulley's Apartment

The third house Timon and Pumbaa want you to check is Mike and Sulley's. Head into the monstrous apartment to find three additional bugs squirming on the floor. The center of the room is quite clear, so it should be easier to grab them.

Once you've gathered all the Night Mites, check in with Pumbaa to get the all clear. Then, head over to Timon to see what the next steps are.

Jack Skellington's House

There's one last house on the list, and it's the home of Jack Skellington. When you arrive, there aren't any Night Mites in sight. However, Timon and Pumbaa are certain they're there. Where could Jack be hiding them?

In the back of the room, under a blanket, you'll find the Night Mite's nest. Remove the nest and clear out the bugs, then check back in with Pumbaa.

This is as far as you can go with the quest until you complete The Infestation Part 3 with Timon!
