We're getting a new Doom game next week, and if the reviews for Doom: The Dark Ages are anything to go by, this next installment lives up to the hype of the many games that have come before it. Thousands, if not millions of us will descend into hell with Doomguy once again via The Dark Ages, but only one of us will have a Doom-themed motorcycle waiting for them in the garage while they do it.
Bethesda has teamed up with Harley Davidson to give on of the latter's Sportster S model motorcycles a Doom: The Dark Ages makeover. There's only one of these motorbikes in the world and right after showing it off, the Doom studio teased that it could be persuaded to give it away. Wouldn't you know, Bethesda has been convinced, and now the one-of-kind Doom bike is up for grabs.

PostsHarley Davidsons are known for being pretty cool modes of transport as it is. When you make one of them look like something Doom Slayer might ride through hell, steering with one hand and using the other to kill demons with that new gun that uses ground up skulls as ammo, you're really taking things to the next level.

The Demons Won't Know What Hit Them
Artists at id Software worked on the bike's design, ensuring that its gritty aesthetic matches that of the studio's latest game. It's more than just a motorbike that looks kind of Doom-themed, though. The attention to detail is incredible and what really makes this bike not only very special, but almost impossible to replicate.
via BethesdaAside from being designed to look like it's protected by battle worn armor, the bike has red LED strips built into the wheels, and there are runes reminscent of the ones you'll find in The Dark Ages incorporated throughout its design. That's not the best part, though. That goes to the beast between the handlebars, Serrat.
Serrat is the new mech dragon that will be introduced in The Dark Ages that Doomguy has been shown riding in the game's trailers. A replica of the dragon's head is mounted onto the front of the bike with a single headlight shining through it. As if the bike alone wasn't enough, the contest through which you can win it also includes a Doom: The Dark Ages collector's bundle headlined by a Doom-themed Xbox Series X with matching controller.
There is a very big catch, and it will spell bad news for a lot of you reading this. Bethesda's Doom Harley giveaway is only open to residents of Australia. If you live in Asutralia, you can enter the contest right now. Part of the contest entry involves coming up with a name for your bike. It's unclear if how much Bethesda likes your name will play a part in how likely you are to win the contest.
