Goku Mini has both a base form and a normal Super Saiyan (SSJ) form. We will outline the movesets and abilities of both forms. We also discuss the optimal combos for Goku Mini SSJ, which can, of course, be used for the base one, but there might be differences in the heavy attack strings.

Aura Impact

The Goku Mini released with the Daima DLC is almost the same as the previous mini version. His abilities, Sleep and Warm-up Exercise, are both completely the same. Even his super attacks are identical.

However, he does have a different ultimate attack. Instead of Power Pole Impact, this version uses Aura Impact. This is an explosion ultimate, so you would have a better chance of hitting the opponent after stunning them.

Another significant change is the ki blast. Daima Goku can throw ki blasts at the opponent.

Optimal Combos For SSJ Daima Goku

You can't rely solely on the super attacks in a match, as they aren't particularly reliable. So, combos are important to learn, especially those that can confuse your opponents. Here are two combos that can be challenging to learn, but their high damage output makes learning them worthwhile.

First Combo Explanation

First, perform the complete string of charged normal attacks from all angles, ensuring you hit the enemy with normal attacks. This can be quite challenging, so be sure to practice before applying it in an actual match. Do that in your first combo string and then continue the combo like usual.

Do not hold the heavy attack for too long, as it can ruin your combo. You need to be precise with the timing. If you delay it, the opponent will easily be able to sidestep. That is why doing it mid-combo is important.

During the second string, perform a gut punch and then flying kicks. After that, continue the combo and at the end of the third string, do a heavy sweep attack.

Following that, hit the opponent with a couple of normal attacks, then move your analog upward, then step forward, and continue the combo with normal hits. Now, use any of your super.

Second Combo Explanation

Perform the same heavy attack string at the start and then do the usual combo. After the second string, hit the opponent with a gut punch and charge your ki blast.

Hit the opponent with the ki blast and then do a sweep attack. Again, charge a ki blast and hit your opponent.

Do not press the button to charge up the ki blast immediately after performing a heavy attack. Heavy attacks have further strings that you can trigger.

If you perform a gut punch on an enemy and give the same input again, your character will do another heavy attack, which you don't want. So, wait for a bit and then charge your ki blast.

After that, move your analog upward, step forward, and then perform a heavy attack. After that, charge your ki blast again and then perform a normal combo. Once you're done with that, use any of your rush moves. The ki blasts deal solid damage between combos, but it isn't easy to use them.

This combo works a lot better with characters who have shotgun ki blasts.

While you can use them fairly easily outside of a combo, they become a little complicated when used inside one. You would have to practise a bit before being able to perform this combo.

Make sure not to charge the ki blast too much, as the opponent will recover.
