You know the old saying - money makes the world go round. While that's less true in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero what with all the Super Saiyans, it's still an important gameplay mechanic to wrap your head around.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero - Fastest Way To Farm Dragon Balls

Dragon Balls are hard to come by in Sparking Zero, but there's a reliable way to get your hands on them.

In Sparking Zero, money (known as Zeni) can be used to purchase a ton of different things from the shop, including new characters, ability items, backgrounds, costumes, background music, and more. If you want everything, you're going to need to get a lot of Zeni.

Although you can just choose to buy characters, nearly all of the roster is unlockable through completing specific missions. Check out our guide here if you want to know how to unlock every character.

Best Way To Earn Zeni

Without a doubt, the best way to earn Zeni in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is by going through the Episode Battles and Bonus Battles. Each new mission you complete in Episode Battle awards you with 15,000 Zeni upon completion, which means you can rack up a decent amount by just playing through all of the story mode.

Bonus Battles also award a lot of Zeni, with some of them even giving around 30,000 upon completion for the first time. Since you'll want to be doing these anyway to unlock characters, it's a nice bonus that should give you more than enough to get whatever you need from the shop. By not buying characters and just doing these modes, I had more than enough for nearly the whole shop.

Zeni can also be wished for when you summon Shenron, Porunga, or Super Shenron, with the amount increasing depending on which dragon you use. Don't waste Super Shenron on money, though.

How To Farm Zeni Quickly

If you want more Zeni, though, there's a reliable farming method that acts as the quickest way to earn money outside of just playing online or doing endless versus battles. To start with, you're going to need to get the Rising Fighting Spirit ability item from the Shop and then equip it on whatever character you're going to play as. This lets you start a match with more Ki so you can use a blast super straight away.

Since this method also works well to farm Character Proficiency and Dragon Balls, it's worth keeping that in mind when selecting who to play. Might as well combine all your farming at once!

Once that's all sorted, go into an offline versus match and customise the World Tournament stage. Press L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox to change the out-of-bound settings to on and make your oppoennt as weak as possible. Once that's done, choose to go up against a weak non-flying character like Yajirobe or Mr Satan.

Go into the versus match with these settings and use a blast super as soon as the fight begins. You should be able to clear the match in a few seconds since the opponent will go out-of-bounds as soon as they're hit. This will end the match and award you with 1,000 Zeni each time. If you keep retrying this method you'll be able to farm Zeni easily.

It's not the fastest method of earning money in Sparking Zero and does require some grinding, but it is a reliable way of doing it without having to actually sit through battles over and over again.
