Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Martial Arts DLC Leaks, Fans Think It's OG Dragon Ball
Summary
- We already know that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is getting at least three DLC packs as post-launch content.
- It's possible that there's more in the works, though, as a "Martial Arts Pack" has been spotted on SteamDB.
- While that could just be the name of the Daima or Super: Super Hero DLC, some fans think that it could be a hint at OG Dragon Ball content.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is seemingly getting a "Martial Arts Pack" as DLC, which some fans think will contain more characters from the original Dragon Ball.
Without a doubt, one of the most impressive things about Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is its massive 182-character roster. Before launch, fans were sure that characters from GT and the various non-canon Dragon Ball movies wouldn't be featured, but Spike Chunsoft surprised us all by getting nearly everyone in there. Sorry Super 17 fans.

Posts 1 By George FosterBelieve it or not, that roster is eventually going to get even bigger. Sparking Zero will be getting at least three DLC packs post-launch, which will be adding more than 20 new characters from Dragon Ball Daima and Super: Super Hero. That's exciting enough on its own, but it seems like there might be even more in the works.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Is Getting A "Martial Arts" DLC
As spotted by Twitter user ProDigitalY, a recent update for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was spotted and listed on SteamDB. The update added all of the game's current DLC packs to the database, including the anime music packs, pre-order bonuses, Ultimate Edition upgrades, and more. That's not all that exciting on its own, but it gets more interesting when you notice the "Martial Arts Pack".
There currently isn't a Martial Arts Pack available for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, so it seems that SteamDB has caught an upcoming bit of DLC and listed it in its database. That just leaves the question of what the Martial Arts Pack actually is, since it's not something that's been revealed by Bandai just yet.
While it's possible that it's the name of one of the Daima or Super: Super Hero packs, there's a chance that it's something else altogether. Some fans have speculated that it might just be outfits or costumes with a martial arts theme while some, such as Twitter user AwarenaNoAyoub, think that it's a hint towards more original Dragon Ball content.
OG Dragon Ball is woefully underrepresented in Sparking Zero currently and stands out as the weaker part of the roster with just Goku (Teen) at launch. I think it's much more likely that it's just the name being used for the Daima or Super: Super Hero pack, but an OG Dragon Ball expansion could add characters like King Piccolo, Chi-Chi, Arale, and, if the gods are smiling upon us, Kid Krillin.
