Fallout Season 2 will start filming in November, so just a matter of weeks from now. This comes after its hugely successful premiere back in April, prompting a renewal for a second season almost immediately.

News that filming of the second season is kicking off soon comes from returning actor, Leslie Uggams. Speaking with Screen Rant, Uggams confirms that shooting starts in November, and is excited to return to the wasteland once again.

Fallout Season 2 Starts Filming In Just A Few Weeks

So, does this give us a better idea of when we can expect the second season to drop? Well, the first season started filming in July 2022, and it went on to premiere in April 2024. It's possible that there could be a quicker turnaround this time since the team isn't starting from scratch anymore, but a gap of two years between seasons wouldn't be very surprising by modern TV show standards.

We also know that the next season is taking us to the fav favourite setting of New Vegas, so the sets (and possibly the filming locations) will be quite different this time. Then, there's the fact that we're getting Deathclaws int he next season, probably along with some other monsters from the games too, so the crew certainly has its work cut out.

If the production of the second season is anything like the first, then we might get leaks as soon as the crew start filming. Back when we were still waiting for a trailer for the first season, behind-the-scenes snaps revealed various sets, costumes, and props ahead of time.
