Increasing each stat will play a key role during your venture in the Mazes, but to know what Parameters to level-up first, you should learn how they work while battling other monsters.

Attack

Your assaults, Unite Blitz, Fusion and all other attack become much stronger.

HP

You will lose a Battle Buddy's health once they get KO'd, be careful as your Buddy may end up dying once you run out of it.

Defense

If you don't want your Battle Buddy to die after it's KO'd, work on your defense to make it harder for enemies to deplete HP.

KO Attack

This is a crucial stat, which can deplete an opponent's KO Gauge, which means more Blitz attacks.

KO Stamina

Increasing your KO stamina makes it harder for enemies to KO your Battle Buddies.

Critical Rate

Increases the odds of critical attacks on enemies.

Which Stats To Level Up First

To make sure that your Battle Buddies perform well, choose the stats that will make them shine the most. There are a few stats you should prioritize over others depending on the strengths of your Buddy type.

The Endurance stat will work well for Close-Range Attacker and Formation-type Buddies, as it will allow you to withstand more attacks, especially if you have to battle near the enemy. You don't need it for Long-Range Attackers, since they are fighting from far away. Both Close-Range and Long-Range Attackers perform well with the Attack stat.

It's also a great idea to level up defense for your Close-Range and Formation Buddies. Your Support Buddies will help you a lot during combat as they inflict status effects on enemies, so make sure they have a high HP and overall defense by leveling up Defense, Endurance and Meditation stats.

If you want to deplete an enemy's KO gauge faster, you can also invest in Teamwork, especially for your Formation and Close-Range Attackers. Though Long-Range Attackers will also benefit from Teamwork slightly. The Meditation stat increases your HP and Critical Rate, so it is suitable for all Buddy types.
