Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has brand new characters, new systems and mechanics to learn, and even guest characters for the first time in series history, making it a peculiar entry after a long 26-year hiatus. Fortunately, even with all the new shiny things, it still feels and plays like a Fatal Fury game, which is all we could have hoped for.

Posts 1 By Seth ParmerSpeaking of new characters, Preecha is a brand new original character made for the Fatal Fury series, and is a badass rushdown fighter with a background in Muay Thai, allowing her to deliver devastating and precise strikes on her opponent in the blink of an eye. She's an incredible addition to the cast and is remarkably fun to play!
Preecha Overview
Preecha is the new kid on the block in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and is a solid rushdown fighter with unique actions that can help her open the opposition up, ultimately culminating with a vicious combo for considerable amounts of damage. Despite her intense speed and high-damaging combos, Preecha isn't overly complex, despite her move list looking a bit intimidating to newcomers.
If you're a newcomerto the series and have experience in other fighting games,Preecha shouldn't be too complicated to pick up and learn. However, if this is your first step into the genre as a whole, she may be a bit harder than a Terry Bogard or Rock Howard. Rushdown characters thrive on being aggressive, so if you love getting in your opponent's face and pressing buttons, she's perfect for that.
She is also one of the few characters in the game who doesn't have a strong projectile, meaning she can struggle to control the space and tempo of the fight and can have a hard time against characters with solid projectiles, such as Hotaru and Terry. Nonetheless, she is still extremely strong, but must remain aggressive, as she has to fight tooth and nail to get in on her opponent and open them up!
Preecha Command List
Overall, Preecha is an excellent character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which is evident in both her combos and substantial damage output. But, before we cover that, let's first look at her Command List, which will showcase all her crucial moves that you will see within all of her combos. We strongly recommend learning these before moving onward, as you will be implementing them frequently when executing her combos!

Preecha Tips And Tricks
Before we close out this guide, let us provide a few more tips and tricks for Preecha, allowing you to get even more of a sense of how she operates, to allow you to explore her movelist more, and discover combos for yourself that may better suit your playstyle. While she can be a bit complex to get the hang of, you can really get a lot out of her by playing a bit more simply.
For example, you can chain three light attacks together and go into a Special Move with Preecha, giving you lots of time to confirm the hit and go into your combo. It would look something like this:
- c.LK > c.LP > LP > ➡️⬇️↘️ HK (BR) > ➡️⬇️↘️ LK
This is a very basic combo that allows you to confirm your Light Normals into a potent Special Move, which can lead to considerable damage with an optimal combo. While other characters can also do this, Preecha having access to it is remarkably strong, considering her tremendous speed, power, and comboability after confirming a hit.
You can build off so many different things with her, opening the door wide open for various combo routes that can fit into your specific playstyle with her, which only goes hand-in-hand with her ability to suffocate her opponent with pressure and okizeme setups!
